P2RIC promotes prevention and serves a blend of the interests of the classically defined P2 Specialist as developed by ATEEC and posted below, along with the emerging definitions of sustainability managers under development by DOE, Commercial Building Initiative and sustainabilty professionals described by O*NET at link 1 and link 2 .

The Pollution Prevention Specialist DACUM, as developed by ATEEC

The Pollution Prevention Specialist identifies, evaluates, recommends, and assists in implementing practices that result in waste reduction (including energy and water conservation), regulatory compliance, and potential cost benefits.

A. CONDUCTING FACILITY ASSESSMENTS

A-2 Construct input-output model for a process (e.g., perform a mass balance calculation)
