University of Missouri Extension Office of Waste Management

Current activities are focused on developing statewide education and collection infrastructure for mercury-containing products. OWM works closely with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Protection Agency, and business and industry stakeholders. Past programs have addressed pollution prevention in various industry sectors including automotive service, medical services, metal plating, hospitality, and college campuses.
