Chapter Abstract: This is clip 7 of 7 for this video. Jerry Kotas is the Director of the Pollution Prevention Office in the Office of Policy Planning and Evaluation, U.S. EPA. The EPA pollution prevention program represents a new commitment from the federal government on the issue of waste. "End of the pipe," regulations cannot controls pollution problems. The EPA has set internal goals for the implementation of their pollution prevention policy. Pollution prevention is an idea whose time has come.
