Chapter Abstract: This is clip 24 of 26 for this video. The water break test has been the standard. There have been developments in the realm of Freon extraction of soils. NASA has developed a piece of equipment called a PAT that uses reflectivity as a determination of cleanliness. There are also a number of labs that can analyze the soil remaining on a part. A chemical pretreatment vendor can provide information on testing for cleanliness.
