Chapter Abstract: This is clip 7 of 9 for this video. Smaller companies can be at a disadvantage when exploring pollution prevention opportunities. These can be overcome by focusing on reducing cost and improving production. Low cost and no cost opportunities should not be overlooked. Three advantages of waste reduction are, a reduction in the amount of raw material purchased, reduction in waste disposal costs and an overall improvement in processes, making companies more competitive.
