Chapter Abstract: This is clip 3 of 10 for this video. Storing parts undercover is important to hold their value and help prevent fluid seepage into groundwater and stormwater. Poor tire storage practices can pose fire hazards and other dangers to public health. Car batteries that cannot be recycled must be managed as hazardous waste. Most batteries can be recycled, but must be stored appropriately before being hauled away.
