Let's Tackle the Grease in the Kitchen: Chapter 02: Some Solutions
Chapter Abstract: This is clip 2 of 5 for this video. To dispose of left over melted butter, wipe out the container with a paper towel before washing. Leftover bacon grease can be collected into an empty coffee can. Once the can is full, it can be placed in the trash. The same thing can be done for oil. For large amounts of oil, such as from a turkey fryer, contact local grease recyclers, household hazardous waste programs or absorb the oil in clay cat litter and place the litter in the trash.
