Preventing Pollution at Your Auto Repair Facilities - Part 03, Refillable Spray Bottles: Chapter 02: Review
Chapter Abstract: Part 3 of 6 for this series, clip 2 of 2 for this part. Use a funnel or pump to avoid spills when filling bottles. Make sure the product being used is compatible with the spray bottle. Use shop air to pressurize the bottle and unclog nozzles. Use downtime to top off or fill spray bottles. Keep replacement parts on hand. Clearly label each bottle and keep them stored in chemical lockers when not in use. Technicians find that refillable spray bottles work just as well as their aerosol counterparts and provide a more predictable shot of product.
