Environmentally Sound Practices in the Marina Industry: Springtime Commissioning: Chapter 04: Painting
Chapter Abstract: This is clip 4 of 6 for this video. Use of rollers and high volume low pressure paint guns will reduce the amount of paint in the air. All painting must be done in an enclosed area. Antifoulant paints must be disposed of properly, and the spray guns cleaned in a closed solvent washout system. Solvent reuse should be a part of this process. Waste solvent should be disposed of by a certified hazardous waste hauler.
