Chapter Abstract: This is chapter 2 of 4 for this video. John Roberts Company is a lithographic printer that has started an EMS. Their EMS was implemented due to a variety of reasons including, environmental impact, cost savings and overall efficiency. It started as a loss control program and evolved into an EMS. Beginning with programs they already had in place, they added elements that resulted in their environmental program. They have experienced a number of benefits ranging from reduced risk and liability to bottom line savings. An EMS is an ongoing process.
