WRATT III Case Studies - Great Dane Chapter 03: Waste Material

Chapter Abstract: This is clip 3 of 14 for this video. The only source of hazardous waste was waste paint related materials from flushing the paint lines with solvent. The handling of these materials complied with EPA waste codes .F002, .F003, and .F005. Between 1987 and 1990, an average of more than 123,000 lbs / year of paint related waste was generated and hauled offsite for treatment and disposal. The estimate for 1991 is 2,640 lbs resulting in a 98% reduction.
