Automotive Refinishing Pollution Prevention Outreach Program - Results
Abstract: This case study presents the results of two P2 measures; the STAR training and the use of LaserPaint spray guns in five California auto body shops. Paint use dropped by up to 45% (as well as paint costs and emissions) as a result of these strategies.

Abstract: This case study discusses the possibility of recovering the heat from the boiler blowdown cleaning process and using it to preheat the feedwater. This process was installed at an Augusta Newsprint plant and was found to save $31,000 dollars annually.
